Changelog

Version 1.0.4

Added spam protection for the withdrawal form: automated bot submissions are now reliably blocked — fully in the background, with no extra steps for your customers.

Version 1.0.3

Bugfixes

Version 1.0.2

Bugfixes

Version 1.0.1

Added

  • Flexible guest identification — guests now identify themselves with their name plus one of two paths: order number or e-mail address. No more mandatory order number (in line with Art. 11a of the EU Consumer Rights Directive — no unnecessary hurdles for exercising the right of withdrawal).
  • Smarter order number field — accepts the order reference, the order ID and the invoice number (with or without prefix). A help text explains where to find it. A name check against the customer account and delivery address acts as the security filter for all lookup paths.
  • Configurable order number field — new setting with three modes: Optional (new default, recommended), Required (with a legal warning in the back office) or Hidden.
  • Unmatched withdrawal flow — if no order can be matched automatically, the withdrawal is still accepted: the customer receives the legally required confirmation of receipt with date and time, and the merchant assigns the order manually afterwards. No withdrawal is ever rejected over a formality.
  • Comfortable manual assignment in the back office — unmatched withdrawals show automatic order suggestions (matched by customer name / e-mail) plus an integrated order search (reference, ID, customer name or e-mail). Assignment is a single click — no more copy-pasting order IDs.
  • Configurable URL slug — the withdrawal form is now reachable under a friendly URL (e.g. /widerruf instead of /module/.../submit), configurable in the settings with a clickable live preview.

Changed

  • Order statuses ("Withdrawal requested / approved / rejected") are now created with proper translations in all 8 supported languages instead of German-only.
  • The shop logo in notification e-mails is now referenced by URL instead of being embedded — no more logo file showing up as an e-mail attachment.
  • Selecting from multiple matching orders is re-validated server-side — tampered form submissions are rejected.

Fixed

  • "My Account" footer link not showing on PrestaShop 9 (hook registration on existing installations).
  • Customer account tile now renders correctly with the Hummingbird theme (PS9).
